A growing number of organic farms in Connecticut are becoming a working classroom for neophytes to learn the trade or discover if farming is best left to farmers.
Over the coming months, I’ll be working on farms across the state, in search of unique stories. I hope to answer what attracts people to farming and document the growing movement of people chucking the corporate life in exchange of living closer to the land. I’ll also touch on issues affecting this important industry and what it means to you, the consumer.
